I loved the privacy of the five clean onsens in the basement. The hotel staff, especially Mr Lee, were attentive and accommodating. The breakfast spread was delicious and showcased a good variety of traditional Japanese food. The free extras like toothbrushes and razors were added bonuses.
Not one thing.

This traditional Japanese style hotel impressed us with its friendly staff who could speak multiple languages. The private hot springs added a luxurious touch and were easily accessible without any queues. Another advantage was the generous spread of delicious Japanese breakfast brought to our room every morning. The location was convenient and walking distance from the shopping street and the lake.
We also faced a problem with the hot water in the private toilet which was too cold for winter months.

The location of the hotel is not ideal, as it takes a while to reach the main shopping areas. the in-house onsens are clean and offer high privacy, with no need to queue up at any time. the staff are friendly and polite, always willing to help with anything. the breakfast is delicious, but could be hotter. the private hot springs and traditional gowns offered to wear are definitely a plus.
The hotel lacks staff during peak times of the day, which can be a bit inconvenient.

The traditional Japanese atmosphere of the hotel created a cozy and relaxing environment. the private hot springs were definitely the best aspect of the stay, offering a peaceful and tranquil experience without any crowds. the friendly staff were always available to help and provide great suggestions for local restaurants and attractions.
The distance from the main shopping street, making the walk back at night a bit challenging. Another negative aspect was that there was no staff on duty for a few hours in the afternoon, which made it difficult to ask for help during that time.

Friendly staff, private bath, traditional Japanese feel, variety of traditional Japanese food, free amenities.
Nothing all good.
